Recently, a fellow enthusiast recommended Kiku for wire cutters. I hadn't heard much about them till then, so it was a bit of an experiment. They turned out surprisingly good. They handle 1mm and 2mm wires with ease, which I use for shaping my maple. But honestly, it's really about what feels right in your hand and suits your plants' needs. If anyone has other brand suggestions, especially for beginners, I'm all ears!
