I got my first Chinese elm a few weeks ago and I'm a bit confused about the watering. I've read mixed advice online about how often it should be watered. Right now, I check the soil by sticking my finger in it to see if it feels dry about an inch down. But with this summer heat, I'm unsure if I'm watering too much or too little. Some leaves have started to look a bit crispy at the edges. Also wondering if misting helps, or if that just messes up the water balance? Any tips would be appreciated!
