I found a small ficus at my local nursery and I'm wondering if it's a good choice for bonsai. I heard ficus is pretty hardy and can handle beginner mistakes. Anyone have experience with ficus bonsai? It's leafing out well now that it's spring but I'm not sure about pruning. Should I wait a bit longer or is now a good time to start shaping it? Any advice would be great!
